Description
• Spearhead early-stage research and development projects in medical imaging, focusing on transforming innovative ideas into viable product concepts. • Lead early phase projects in gated medical imaging product design process, including business case development, product concept exploration, proof of concept/prototype activities, and feasibility and market need assessments. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, evaluate emerging technologies, and align R&D efforts with organizational strategic goals. • Translate cutting-edge imaging concepts and technology into practical applications.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree + 4-6 years of related experience. • Demonstrated experience in early-stage product development, innovation management, and ability to navigate the complexities of R&D in a regulated industry. • Strong understanding of medical imaging/clinical research industry, emerging imaging technologies and trends • Knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, software as medical device (SaMD) development processes and regulations. Experience leading cloud and digital first technology strategies. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, communication and presentation abilities • Experience with agile development practices. • Abilities to work independently and self-motivate, strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
