Description

• Manage and mentor a team of talented software developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth • Lead the hiring process for new team members, ensuring we attract and retain top talent • Collaborate with the Director and senior leaders to ensure that software projects align with Achievers strategic goals • Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of software applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices • Drive continuous improvement in software development processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality • Lead software projects from inception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope • Provide regular updates to senior management and participate in strategic planning sessions to shape the future of Achievers initiatives

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in software development management • Demonstrated success in managing, mentoring, and building high-performing development teams • Extensive experience with programming languages such as PHP, Python, GO, Java, SQL, and other modern programming languages and technologies • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting detailed technical documentation • Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset to identify inefficiencies and drive impactful improvements • Experience working closely with Product Management, Data Science, and Business partners to align technical solutions with business objectives • Ability to see the big picture and contribute to defining the broader architecture of our custom platform, ensuring its scalability and effectiveness • Think out of box, use the right tools for your job • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
